Magisto transforms videos and photos into stories. Using artificial intelligence algorithms, the Magisto app analyzes footage to compile, edit and produce an emotionally compelling story. The service has 65 million registered users and over 10 million movies are produced per month.
As storytelling is at the heart of the brand, we took cues from historical and cultural uses of symbolic storytelling, including hieroglyphics, cave paintings, totem poles, filmstrips and emojis. These combined influences inspired us to create a unique graphic language that emphasizes emotion and nods to modern day technology. Built into the brand symbol are the relationships between record and play and between creator and viewer. Bright colors and friendly messaging convey an inventive and exhilarating brand while keeping the tone familial. Animation brings to life the brand narrative, “moving stories.”
